This weekend check out DSCS @ the SF IndiFest Screening of "Collisions" !!!
Dolores Street Community Services is partnering up with local filmmaker Richard Levien for the screening of his feature film, “Collisions”- our very own Senior Attorney, Frances Kreimer, provided guidance for the film script! The film aims to humanize aspects of the immigration debate, especially the separation of families, and to shine a light on the large injustices in our current immigration detention system. “Collisions,” is a sensitively portrayed, moving story about an immigrant family in San Francisco and the travails they experience as a result of their government-forced separation. “Collisions" is playing at the Roxie as part of SF IndieFest!
A family member of a client of the Deportation Defense and Legal Advocacy Program will be participating in the Q&A shortly after the film.
