Michael Winn

President

Mike Winn is the Director of Pro Bono and Externship Programs and a Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School, where he is responsible for the development, expansion, and oversight of the law school’s Pro Bono Program. Previously, Mike spent five years as the Directing Attorney for OneJustice’s Pro Bono Justice program. He was responsible for developing and stewarding OneJustice’s innovative pro bono programs, including the groundbreaking Justice Bus Project. Before joining OneJustice, Mike served as interim executive director at Start Small Think Big, a nonprofit providing financial development services and civil legal assistance to low-income communities in the South Bronx, and spent nearly four years as a litigation associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in New York. Mike graduated from The George Washington University School of Law in Washington, D.C. Before law school, Mike received an M.A. in Central & Eastern European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and graduated with a B.A. in History from Union College in New York. Mike is a member of the State Bar of California and holds a certificate in nonprofit management from his participation in OneJustice’s Executive Fellowship program.
